  • Homestead may protect you  from creditors forcing you to sell your property to pay off debts.
  • Homestead also protect you from creditors in the event of death of a spouse or joint owner.
  • Homestead does not protect you if judgments have already been entered.
  • Homestead do not protect you from child or spousal support.
  • Record a Grant Deeds to add or remove a spouse or joint owner from title.
  • Record a Grant to correct vesting or the manner in which title is held.
  • Records Deeds of Trust to secure moneys against property for private loans.
  • Inner Spousal Transfer Deeds are most commonly used in a divorce settlement.
  • Quick Claim Deeds are no longer accepted in most states so, therefore are not recommended in he removal of any parties from title.
